Thanks for the info! I find that way early on people are too focused on the letters and not the sound-and that we stop working on phonological awareness way too soon. There are students I have in 4th or 5th grade who never really grasp these skills.

Thanks for the helpful hints. I especially like the use of the letter tiles for counting the sounds and flipping to show the spelling. I will definitely implement that in my teaching.
