Carrie,
Your information is so helpful. I agree that I don’t know how you do it all! I have a question for you though. I love Evernote and think it has fantastic features, but since it isn’t HIPAA compliant I can’t put anything on there that relates to clients. How do you handle that? Do you have separate locations on a different sever or hard drive for client files or have you figured something else out with regards to Evernote? I have considered looking into Onenote which Inunderstand CAN be HIPAA compliant. Any thoughts on Onenote? Thank you so much!
No, Evernote is not HIPAA compliant so I don’t use it for any sensitive information. I mainly use it to organize my therapy materials and handouts. You may be able to get away with using client initials in Evernote but I would look into that to make sure. I’ve not used Onenote. Does anyone else have any thoughts on that?
Thanks! I might just start using it for therapy materials as well. The search function is very handy.
I love it! It saves me a ton of time!
I love it but I hate how pushy they’ve become to sign up for a paid membership! I have used initials for data and omitted DOB and paraphrased goals. You can copy and paste into a google doc if anyone needs your information. I love how portable it is for when I am on an ipad or away from my computer.
Love this !!!!! And def looking into Evernote and the phrase site !!!! Would love to do session notes in this and then maybe fill in names after ? Do u use theranest at all? Wondering if the 2 can be combined. Very often I feel doing double work and end up using paper and pen in the end lol
No, I’m not familiar with theranest. If it’s just a website you go to though it should work. Glad you enjoyed the info!
Hi Carrie! I really appreciate all you do for me! I get a lot out of your resources! I just watched your organizing videos today and they are great! I can hook you up with a bigger and stylish therapy bag! lol! I plan on using your data collection sheets this year! Thanks again!
Thank you for your kind words! I’m glad you found my materials helpful! Also, I LOVE bags!! 🙂
